She’s back in black.
Kate Middleton surprised fans on Monday when The Sun released a video of the royal visiting a farm shop with husband Prince William in Windsor over the weekend — and conspiracy theories about her health aside, her casual look also got fans talking.
The Princess of Wales, 42 — who’s been recovering from abdominal surgery since January — was spotted for the first time in 2024 at the shop, with the mom of three wearing a loose black hoodie and leggings as she strolled next to the Prince of Wales, 41.
It turns out her sweatshirt is actually a men’s England rugby style featuring the team’s rose logo on the chest, an orange zipper and orange trim on the sleeves.
The hoodie gives a nod to one of her favorite sports since the royal serves as patron of the Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League — and it was possible the Princess of Wales was heading home to watch England’s big match against France Saturday night.
As for the rest of her look, the royal wore black leggings with socks pulled up over them and the same pair of black Adidas UltraBoost 20 sneakers she wore in a video after becoming patron of the rugby organizations in 2022.

As for the Prince of Wales, he wore an equally casual look, sporting a baseball cap and jeans with a navy coat.
Although photos of the princess riding in a car with her mom and with Prince William have been released (along with her much-discussed Mother’s Day Photoshop fail), Saturday’s outing was the first time the royal was spotted in public since Christmas 2023.
Numerous wild conspiracy theories about her health and whereabouts have spread across the internet in recent weeks, but with Easter approaching, the royal is expected to be back to work soon enough.
