Kate Middleton’s uncle offers cryptic response as he’s confronted about princess’ whereabouts

Kate Middleton’s uncle offered a cryptic response when one of his “Celebrity Big Brother UK” housemates confronted him about the Princess of Wales’ whereabouts following her abdominal surgery.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu asked Gary Goldsmith out of the blue during Wednesday’s episode, “Where’s Kate?”

In response, the entrepreneur, 58, stammered, “So, because she doesn’t want to talk about it … the last thing I’m going to do is …”

Cülcüloğlu, 29, picked up on Goldsmith’s palpable hesitation and interrupted him to ask, “We can’t talk about it?”

Citing a “code of etiquette,” Carole Middleton’s brother teased, “If it’s announced, I’ll give you an opinion.”

The “Love Island” alum appeared concerned as she replied, “I hope she’s OK,” to which Goldsmith shared that Carole, 69, assured him Kate, 42, is “getting the best care in the world” while recovering from her operation.

Kensington Palace announced on Jan. 17 that Kate had undergone a “successful” surgery and would not “return to public duties until after Easter,” which falls on March 31 this year.

While the palace described the operation as “planned,” sources told Page Six that even the princess’ closest aides had no idea about it.

Since then, Kate has been photographed only once, leading social media users to spread countless theories and baselessly speculate that she underwent plastic surgery or was in a coma.

However, a rep told Page Six exclusively last month that Kate is “doing well” and reiterated that the palace will only provide “significant updates” on her health out of respect for her privacy.

Kate’s husband, Prince William, also spoke out against the conspiracies swirling online.

“His focus is on his work and not on social media,” his spokesman told People this week.
