Even Olympians struggle to find gold medal-worthy clothes.
On Monday, Simone Biles, 27, took to Instagram to highlight how hard it is for her to shop for pants.
“Before y’all complain that nothing fits y’all, I want y’all to see my struggle…” she wrote on her Story, sharing a photo she took of the tag on her Abercrombie & Fitch high-rise, straight-leg jeans.
The gymnast, who is only 4-foot-8, revealed she fits into a size 23/000 in the bottoms, which appear to be the brand’s Ultra High Rise 90s Straight Jean ($90).
“So hard to find bottoms that fit me🙃” she continued. “But when I find them🫶🏾🫶🏾💯💯🙌🏾🙌🏾😍😍 my heart”
She later shared a photo of herself posing in what seemed to be the same pants, styling them with a brown crop top and white sneakers.
While Biles’ petite build may make it hard to shop for everyday clothing, thankfully, she doesn’t face the same problem when it comes to leotards.
During the 2024 Paris Olympics, the athlete, who now has 11 Olympic medals to her name, wore a variety of dazzling designs, including her balance beam final look, which featured over 5,000 crystals.
She’s also managed to make fashion statements off the mat as well, even rocking customized jeans from Bal Apparel during her bachelorette trip to Belize.
The pearl-embellished pants were personalized on the butt, reading “Mrs. Owens” — a tribute to her now-husband, NFL pro Jonathan Owens.
Biles later went on to wear two Galia Lahav wedding gowns for the couple’s May 2023 nuptials after legally getting married at the courthouse in a $120 wedding dress and $35 shoes.
Of course, no fashion icon is safe from the occasional criticism.
While cheering on her husband at a recent Chicago Bears game, Biles opted to wear a jacket that featured the logo for the Green Bay Packers, the team Owens played for before ultimately signing to the Bears in March 2024.
Fans took to social media to call out the most decorated gymnast of all time, reference the fact that the teams are known rivals.
“It’s ridiculously unaware of your surroundings and insulting to her husband,” one person commented on X (formerly Twitter).
Still, it doesn’t seem like Biles is sweating it. Last week, the 27 year old shared shots of herself posing on top of a brand-new white G-Wagon, the price of which starts at $150,000, and revealed that her parents bought her an Hermès Birkin bag in Paris after her historic wins.
From fashion to vehicles, one thing is clear: this girl is riding in style.
