Victoria Beckham may be a woman of many talents, but she’s not ready to add “grandma” to her resume.
The star became panicked when she was asked if she’s ready to become a grandmother during a recent interview with “Vogue” that debuted Friday.
“Jesus. What?! Woo. Hang on,” she replied, clearly ruffled. “I don’t think it’s happening just yet, unless you guys know something that I don’t, it’s not happening just yet.”
The 49-year-old designer’s eldest son with husband David Beckham, Brooklyn, has been married to actress Nicola Peltz since April 2022.
Months after their extravagant wedding, Brooklyn, now 24, admitted he wants to have 10 kids with his wife.
“I’ve always wanted to be a young dad,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I would love to have a family soon, but whenever my wife is ready.”
When Brooklyn and Peltz, 29, are ready to enter that next stage in their lives, Victoria already has some ideas for what she’d like to be called.
“The last time I was with [Vogue editor] Anna [Wintour] I was like, ‘Anna, what do your grandchildren call you?’ And she said to me, ‘Anna,’” she recalled.
“And I was like, well that is very elegant, so maybe I’ll take that route.”
“But it’s not happening just yet,” she added. “But, you know, hopefully one day if I am blessed, then that would be wonderful. But we’re not there just yet!”
She also dished on what it’s like to be a mother-in-law to Peltz, whom she was once rumored to be feuding with around the time of Brooklyn and Pelt’z wedding.

“Nicola is wonderful and I think that she’s so talented. She’s so passionate about what she does,” she gushed.
“And her and Brooklyn make each other super happy, and that is wonderful to see.”
“As a mother,” she continued, “all you want if your you kids to be happy, right? And that’s everything.”
Victoria is also mom to sons Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 18, and daughter Harper, 12.
On Thursday, the “Lola” star shared similar words about Victoria in her interview with Byrdie.
“I love her, and she’s such an incredible, successful woman,” she raved.
“How lucky am I that I get to ask her for advice? I’m blessed!”
